Is ACS my lawyer?
No. ACS Legal Limited traces assets and prepares the evidence file. Legal advice and any filing are done by an admitted lawyer at a separate firm, and only if you agree.
This policy describes the relationship you have with ACS Legal Limited if you use this website or ask for a case review. It does not replace a written agreement for a matter we accept. No win, no fee. $0 upfront.
ACS Legal Limited (Hong Kong CR 61832470) is a cryptocurrency asset-recovery firm. It traces stolen Bitcoin, Ethereum, and USDT and prepares the evidence file. Legal advice and any court filing are handled by admitted lawyers at separate firms, and only if you agree to that introduction. SarahLegal.co (Sarah Schumacher, Swiss Bar, Canton of Jura) may be instructed. Crypto Justice Legal (Sascha Christener, admitted in the Canton of Bern in February 2018) is a separate firm you can contact directly. Sending a form does not hire a lawyer. We aim to contact you within one business day. ACS does not accept citizens or permanent residents of the United States, Germany, Italy, or France.
ACS traces stolen cryptocurrency and prepares an evidence file. The assets include Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT on ERC-20 and TRC-20, and other major tokens when the public record can be followed.
The case types are fake exchanges, pig butchering and romance scams, phishing and wallet drains, binary options, and DeFi rug pulls. A bank or card payment is in scope only when it was the path into a crypto or online investment scam.
If you agree, ACS can introduce you to an admitted lawyer at a separate firm. SarahLegal.co may be instructed. Crypto Justice Legal is a different firm you can contact yourself. ACS staff do not give legal advice and do not file claims.
The form asks for a call or an email. We aim to contact you within one business day. That contact is not a completed trace, not a legal opinion, and not a promise that funds can be recovered.
Many trails cannot be pursued. A freeze is realistic only when the coins reach an exchange or another identifiable custodian, and only if a lawyer and a court or the exchange can still act.
There is no charge to request a review. If we accept the case, you sign written terms first. The success fee is typically 12.5% of funds that actually reach you. If nothing is recovered, no success fee is due. Court, bank, or conversion charges can still arise.
Where recovered funds are paid out, they are paid to your own bank account or wallet. We never ask for your private key or seed phrase. Where a smart contract is used, it pays your own wallet. The success fee is the fee in your written agreement.
ACS Legal Limited does not accept citizens or permanent residents of the United States, Germany, Italy, or France.
We can decline a matter, including where the record is too thin, the file would break sanctions rules, or we cannot add anything useful. Identity checks may be required before a formal engagement or before any recovered funds are paid. Read the AML policy.
Write to info@acslegaloffice.com with your name, the date of the enquiry, and what you want changed. We aim to reply within 15 business days. This is a complaint to the company. It is not a decision by a law society, because ACS is not a law firm.
If a separate lawyer is instructed, complaints about that lawyer's own work go to that lawyer and to the bar that admitted them.

No success fee is due if nothing is recovered. It does not mean that a court, a bank, or a currency conversion can never create a charge. Those points are in the written terms.
