ACS Legal Limited (Hong Kong CR 61832470) is a cryptocurrency asset-recovery firm. It traces stolen Bitcoin, Ethereum, and USDT and prepares the evidence file. Legal advice and any court filing are handled by admitted lawyers at separate firms, and only if you agree to that introduction. SarahLegal.co (Sarah Schumacher, Swiss Bar, Canton of Jura) may be instructed. Crypto Justice Legal (Sascha Christener, admitted in the Canton of Bern in February 2018) is a separate firm you can contact directly. Sending a form does not hire a lawyer. We aim to contact you within one business day. ACS does not accept citizens or permanent residents of the United States, Germany, Italy, or France.

Who writes the report

BNG SOFTWARE LIMITED, Hong Kong company 2781989, business registration 70240191, incorporated on 28 December 2018, prepares the report. Its registered office is Units 04-05, 26/F, Railway Plaza, 39 Chatham Road South, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong. BNG does not give legal advice.

You engage BNG separately. ACS does not become your lawyer by arranging the introduction.

What the report can be used for

The report may help a lawyer, a police report, or an exchange compliance team understand the transaction path. Admissibility and weight depend on the court, the facts, and the rules of that procedure. BNG states this limit on its forensic report page.

A report does not guarantee that assets will be recovered. Recovery still depends on where the coins went and on whether a custodian or a court can act.

BNG's fee, on this page only

For qualifying investigations, BNG may offer a no-upfront-fee arrangement. BNG's indicative success fee is about 12% of the qualifying recovered amount, under a signed agreement, with a fee window described by BNG as five years from acceptance of the investigation. Confirm the figures on BNG's investigation cost page before you rely on them. ACS's own success fee, when ACS accepts a recovery matter, is stated on the fees page and is typically 12.5%.

Questions

Is the report valid in court?

A court decides that. The report may support a lawyer or a police report. Neither ACS nor BNG can promise that a court will accept it.

Do I pay ACS for the report?

The report is BNG's engagement. Read BNG's terms. An ACS recovery matter, if we accept one, is a separate written agreement.
